Terms of Service

Effective Date: March 2026

RiseOhana turns household chores into quests that kids actually want to do. These Terms explain the rules for using our app — what you can expect from us, and what we expect from you.

This page has two parts. Part 1 is a plain-English summary. Part 2 is the full legal agreement. Both parts say the same things — Part 1 just says them faster.

Important: This summary is provided for your convenience. It does not replace the full Terms of Service below. If anything in this summary conflicts with the full Terms, the full Terms control. By using RiseOhana, you agree to the full Terms — not just this summary.

Who we are: RiseOhana, Inc., a Delaware C-Corporation.

What we do: A mobile app where parents assign quests (tasks) to their kids. Kids submit a photo when they're done, our AI checks it, you make the final call, and they earn points.

Who Can Use RiseOhana

How Quests Work

AI verification is how RiseOhana works. It is not an optional feature. If you do not agree to AI photo verification, you cannot use the app.

Your Child's Privacy

We collect only what the app needs. Your child's photos are sent to OpenAI for quest verification and deleted after 30 days. Push notifications are delivered via Firebase Cloud Messaging using an app-specific token (not a device ID).

In the app, we share data with five service providers — and only them:

ProviderWhat They DoChild Data?

No ads in the app. No data brokers. No behavioral tracking of your child. Our public website uses analytics — see Our Website in our Privacy Policy for what it collects.

Points Are Not Money

Points and credits earned in the app have no cash value. They are a family tool for managing allowances and rewards — not a financial product. You control how points work in your family.
